Carving and creating with heat and hammer constitute the center of my creative process. I use nature, folklore, and the movement of the human figure as the root of the pieces I create. They grow from that root into something subtle and elegant, bold and over the top, or whimsical, depending on my mood. Sharon has a A.A. Degree from Walla Walla Community College and then went on to Central Washington University where she received her B.A. She earned her MFA at Montana State University in metalsmithing. She shows in numerous galleries throughout the U.S., and is in permanent collections world wide.
