My work is inspired by materials, color, and the play of translucency and opacity. Layers of fragile mica, carved acrylic that magnifies the pierced underlying structure, a clean silver edge reflected in the transparent resin that surrounds it. I enjoy exploring the possibilities of my chosen materials, repeating elements in a variety of combinations.
